Meeting for Worship is the heart of Quakerism and the center of spiritual focus and renewal for the Religious Society of Friends, as we gather together in silence to hear that still small voice of God. Our worship experience nurtures the bonds of community, helps speak to the needs of seekers, and gives rise to our testimonies and actions on peace, justice and other social concerns. We welcome all attenders, friends and neighbors. The presence of visitors enriches our meeting. We hope that the information on this website helps you to understand what we’re about, and will encourage you to come to Germantown Friends Meeting in the near future.
We are now holding hybrid meetings for worship. Friends gather for worship at 10:30 am both in the meetinghouse and virtually from their homes (via a zoom link). We have a monitor in the front of the meeting house so that we can see and hear those who are worshipping online. We now have microphones in the meetinghouse so that all may hear messages delivered.
For those attending in person, masking is now optional. If you have a fever or other Covid-19, cold, or flu symptoms, please join us via our zoom connection. If you would like to join our virtual worship or receive our weekly email, please email the Meeting Secretary and we will send you the zoom log-in information and/or add you to the mailing list.
