The Funeral Arrangements Committee is asking the Germantown Meeting family once again to be generous with their time and baking skills – this time for the reception following Dick Taylor’s memorial service on Saturday, December 14th.
Welcoming cookies and brownies; only foods that can be nibbled with one hand.
Please label the container if you bring a special delicacy (e.g. gluten free, nut free, dairy free, etc).
When? Saturday, December 14th -- drop off 11:30am - 1:30pm * (memorial begins at 1:30)

The next Meeting of the Anti-Racism discussion group will finish discussing the book, The White Bonus, and we will look at the various ways people have found and are finding to be a force for resistance to the Trump Administration and its plans to turn back progress in race relations, individual rights, climate progress, and more. Applications should be completed and returned to Faye Steacy, clerk of the Scholarship Committee, by Monday, January 27. Please send these to Faye through the U.S. Mail. John Woolman was an 18th century Quaker from Mt. Holly, NJ, who is best known for his spiritual and political anti-slavery beliefs and actions. His journal is still widely read. The house will be decorated for the holidays and tours will be available. The director, Charles Bruder, will be on hand to share information about the property and the life and writings of John Woolman.
